Together we can make a difference with these partners in Zambia:
- Conservation South Luangwa http://cslzambia.org/
CSL exists to help protect Zambia’s wildlife in partnership and collaboration with the Department of National Parks & Wildlife, the local community and generous support from sponsors around the world Their goal to stop poaching, to eradicate wildlife trafficking and protect and optimise wildlife and natural resources.
- Zambian Carnivore Program http://www.zambiacarnivores.org
ZCP is dedicated to conserving large carnivore species and the ecosystems they reside in for one of Africa’s most wildlife-rich places. We are 100% field-based, working out of 3 basic research camps across Zambia.
- Mulberry Mongoose https://mulberrymongoose.com
From our workshop, located on a well-trodden elephant path in the Zambian bush, local craftswomen make all our jewellery by hand using natural materials from the South Luangwa valley. In an area where unemployment and poaching are a reality, every piece of jewellery sold helps us support our families and conserve this unique place that inspires our work.
- Project Luangwa http://www.projectluangwa.org
Project Luangwa is a charitable organisation formed by the Safari Operators of South Luangwa as a part of their commitment to responsible tourism. Our aim is to create an effective, coordinated approach to helping local communities improve their long term economic prospects whilst avoiding a negative impact on the environment and wildlife. We believe as a charity operating in Zambia that by developing and improving education in schools and creating training opportunities we can help families have the chance of a lasting and sustainable income.
