Set off at 730am with your guide to begin a full day exploring Cairo. Tour of the legendary city of Memphis, which was founded in 3100 BC by Menes, the Pharaoh who united Upper and Lower Egypt. Memphis became the capital of the Old Kingdom and the heart of Egypt's busy import-export activity, with traders from around the world giving it a cosmopolitan atmosphere. Next, move on to Sakkara, the former necropolis (cemetery) for the ancient Egyptian city of Memphis and the place where the very first pyramids were built as tombs for kings. Discover the famous Step Pyramid of King Zoser, the first pyramid ever built and the world's oldest freestanding stone structure. Enjoy lunch at “Le Jardin” restaurant located in Marriott Mena House Hotel overlooking the great Pyramids of Giza. Nearby sits the enigmatic Sphinx with the body of a lion and the face of a man wearing a royal head cloth. Coptic Museum & Synagogue of Ben Ezra

Your guide will meet you at 8.00am to commence your excursions. Visit the newly refurbished Coptic Museum located inside the Roman fortress in Old Cairo this beautiful museum was first completed in 1908, using land belonging to the Coptic Church in Egypt. It displays a wonderful collection of sculpture dating from Pre-Christian times up until the fifth Century, as well as bone carvings, frescoes, icons relics and colorful textiles. Onto the Synagogue of Ben Ezra, built during the time of the once-thriving Jewish community in Egypt under the leadership of Rabbi Ben Ezra. Inside, the so-called "Geniza Documents" were found, a treasure hailed as an unparalleled source of information about the life of the Jews in Egypt's past. At the back of the temple, the coffers in which the infant Prophet Moses was placed by his mother, was reportedly found in deep well.Lunch at the famous “Naguib Mahfouz” restaurant. Afternoon visit to the fascinating Khan El-Khalili Bazaar, reputed to be the largest bazaar in the Middle East and located in the Mosque of Sultan Hassan completed in 1363 followed by a visit to Mosque of Sultan Hassan. Cairo , Abu Simbel & Aswan

Your Tour Coordinator will escort you to Cairo domestic Airport for flight to Aswan and connect onto Abu Simbel. Tour of the two temples of Ramses II at Abu Simbel which are each fronted by colossal statues up to 20 meters (66 feet) high and are famed as the most impressive monuments remaining of Ancient Egypt. Recently. After your visit, board your return flight to Aswan. Return flight to Aswan Airport and transfer to board the luxury Sanctuary Sun Boat IV to commence your 4 night Nile Cruise. This afternoon you will have the chance to take a ride on a felucca (a typical Egyptian sail boat) around Elephantine Island, Lord Kitchener's Botanical Gardens, and the Agha Khan Mausoleum (weather permitting, life jackets will be provided). Aswan - Luxor 4 night cruise

After breakfast you will enjoy a short motorboat ride to visit the majestic Philae Temple on the Island of Agilika followed by a visit to the Granite Quarries before transferring back to the Sanctuary Sun Boat to experience an Egyptian cooking lesson on board. Enjoy lunch, while you cruise to Kom Ombo and visit the magnificent Temple of Kom Ombo - dedicated to the crocodile-god Sobek. Afternoon tea will be served while you cruise to Edfu. Esna and cruise onto Luxor

Breakfast on board and the morning to explore the extraordinary Temple of Horus. Return to the boat and cruise onward to Esna, while enjoying your lunch. This afternoon, your Egyptologist will guide you round the Greco-Roman Temple of Khnum at Esna. The beautifully preserved Great Hypostyle Hall was built during the reign of the Roman Emperor Claudius; it was excavated from the silt that had accumulated through centuries of annual Nile floods and is about nine meters below present-day street level. Afternoon tea will be served while you sail to Luxor followed by a delicious

Luxor full day

Breakfast on board and today your Egyptologist will guide you around the strikingly graceful Temple of Luxor, dedicated to the god Amun and then onwards to the Temple of Karnak. After lunch, visit the Valley of the Kings. You will have the chance to visit at least one tomb in the Valley of the Queens and visit the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut. Return to Sanctuary Sun Boat IV, where afternoon tea will be served in the lounge followed by tonight’s farewell gala dinner serving gourmet cuisine.

Luxor to Cairo

After a buffet breakfast check out at 8am, transfer to Luxor Airport for your flight to Cairo. Upon arrival your Tour Coordinator will be waiting to escort you to your hotel the Heliopolis Towers Hotel. Overnight Cairo and dinner at own arrangements.
